Night sounds, central Sergiev Posad

While the nights are still short and not so dark why not bring a recorder outside?

The loudest sound around – bikers rushing across the night Krasnoy armii avenues. Some adore them, others curse them, I record them.

Gas hissing barely heard at the Eternal flame, Second World War monument in central Sergiyev Posad.

We are at the Beliy Pond in the centre of the town. Despite the late hour, it is full of sounds – cars, people and voices are still there.

Stop for a moment by the walls of the Trinity Sergius monastery, once a fortress that have seen and heard so much. It is quiet now, one can hear the train horns from the station not far away.
