A couple of weeks ago I went to the Dubrava Muzyka<\/a> festival. These were the four day of jazz, something jazz-related and that doesn’t have nothing common with jazz. And apart from that \u2014 a brilliant open air gig on the last day.<\/p>\n

Let’s start on this day. Those kind of recordings serve as a perfect example of all the greatness of live audio captured as is \u2014 with all its faults, overdoing the impeccable audio copies delivered by a mixing board.<\/p>\nhttps:\/\/www.oontz.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/4-011.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n

It felt like magic! At the end of each day I thought it was the last day I’ve been to the festivla, but next morning it felt impossible to resist the great memories that inevitably brought you back. Four days in a row.<\/p>\n

Next were Arimoya \u2014 Dubrava’s own band that features guest musicians. Pianist Alexander Mironov, drummer Pyotr Ivscin, bass player Viktor Shestak, and saxophonist timur Necrasov.<\/p>\nhttps:\/\/www.oontz.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/2-08.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n

More exotic instruments to follow. Amazing guitarist Ivan Smirnov and his son, Ivan as well went onstage with Sergei Klevensky. He is the man of many musical virtues, playing a vast array of pipes.
