They are just the same as any other mics except for one thing \u2013 they tell what\u2019s going on <em>around <\/em>you.<\/p>\n<p>I use a set of stereo binaural mics located at both sides of the recordists\u2019 head capturing the audio as close as possible to what we actually hear, not the relatively flat audio of a standard mic. That\u2019s the trick and that is quite simple. Just wear your headphones while listening \u2013 and you are nearly there.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oontz.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/machine4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These clips were made with the Micbooster&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/micbooster.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clippy EM172<\/a> as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundprofessionals.com\/cgi-bin\/gold\/item\/MS-TFB-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MS-TFB-2<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundprofessionals.com\/cgi-bin\/gold\/item\/SP-TFB-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SP-TFB-2 binaural mics <\/a>from<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundprofessionals.com\/cgi-bin\/gold\/item\/SP-TFB-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> The Sound Professionals<\/a> and CA-14 \u00a0from <a href=\"http:\/\/stores.ebay.com\/CHURCH-AUDIO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Church Audio<\/a>. The recorders are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roland.com\/products\/en\/R-09HR\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edirol R-09 HR and Zoom H5<\/a>.
