Delighted to win the Vmeste Media award which celebrates the best broadcast, audio and online content produced in Russia!
In Feature nomination we found ourselves among journalists from Moscow, Vladivostok, Samara, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Tula and many other cities – all participants being professionals who are passionate about that kind of feature radio that is lively and emphatic, a true radio with pictures.
For nearly 20 years, Vmeste Media remains the Russia’s probably largest discussion platform when it comes to radio such as this. As an online service, oontz.ru isn’t a classic broadcast radio, but we are proud of our effort to draw attention to that kind of radio genre, now overshadowed in Russia by musical and political on-air content.
We got to number one with our Bots and Spammers Dating Club, a feature about telephone spammers whose voices were edited in a way that their owners get a life of their own – talking to each other, singing, getting a loan. This feature would have less chances without Diana Gevorkian who designed the cover of it, and journalist Innokenty Mayorov and his expert advice. Thank you!
